Life is good...

Life. It is so unpredictable sometimes. It's funny how things can be so good, and then take a turn for the worse--and vice versa. And it's amazing to see how your life can completely change in just a matter of weeks. I went from being at my lowest point, to currently feeling great. And it is awesome.
Zoie is finally potty trained. (((HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF))) She still has a few accidents when she is playing and doesn't want to stop, but for the most part she is telling me when she has to go. And when she has to go, we have to go NOW. She is getting so big and I am so proud of her. She never ceases to amaze me.

I have finally hung most of my pictures on my walls in my house. It is starting to feel "complete". The boy painted me a beautiful painting, and I hung it in my bedroom on my wall. It fits perfectly.

I did a little scrapbooking the other day of our trip to the zoo. I love the way it turned out. I ended up scrapping 19 pictures on a 2-page spread! I combined a bunch of different papers and I think it turned out great. I will post pics soon.

This weekend is going to be relaxing and laid-back. I don't have any major plans, but I am going to do some yardwork tonight and just enjoy being. I am going to turn up some music, clean house and enjoy my life. Even though things don't go according to plan, I am still alive and I have a beautiful daughter that is my world. Life is good...

Way to go Lindsay. I knew you could do it but we have to go through valleys and then up to the mountain top, that is the way life is. I am so proud of you and glad to hear that you are going to be doing yardwork and enjoying it not to feel like it is a have-to job. I am so proud of Zoie and now that she is about potty trained, it will be less expensive. No more diapers to buy. I am going back to do some more yardwork myself as I worked almost all morning cutting a shrub so the lawn guys can saw it down at the base. I want to spread some fertilizer before we get the next rain so that means I have to get it done today.
Love you.
