I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! My boyfriend was sweet enough to get a cute little card for me from Zoie (and Skylar, his 3 year old son). They both signed it with their scribbles and handprints, making it truly special. He also got me a great card too.

It was raining here in Oklahoma, so Josh got Zoie and I donuts and we watched some movies. He went to visit his mom, so Zoie and I spent most of the afternoon together just the two of us. I was able to scrapbook some while we watched Disney movies (Madagascar and Cars over and over again). My parents and Josh came over around 3:30 pm and dad and Josh finished putting up Zoie's new swingset/fort/playhouse. I bought it from my cousin who couldn't take it to their new house where they were moving. So we finished putting it up in the rain and afterwards mom and dad left. The rest of the evening was ok, with the typical tantrums and me sending her to her room for being naughty to mommy. :) She didn't get a nap, so she wasn't very cooperative. Luckily she was in bed around 7-7:30 pm, so Josh brought me dinner and we watched Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories. It was a pretty cute, but cheesy, movie.

Overall, it was a good Mother's Day. I am blessed with a wonderful mother (and grandmothers) and a beautiful, spoiled two-year-old little girl that I wouldn't trade for the world. I can't complain.

I hope everyone else had a great Mother's Day as well, and were able to spend it with the ones you love.

Hugs,
Lindsay
