Eischen's

My grandparents and aunt invited Zoie and I to go and eat at Eischen's on Saturday (April 25th). This place was known across the state for their chicken. So we loaded up the car and took a roadtrip.

We arrived at the restaurant, which was also a famous bar as it was the oldest bar in the state. A lot of motorcycle riders come to the infamous place to sit down and have a beer at the wooden bartop. There were quite a few bikers there when we showed up.

We sat down at the booth and they took our drink order. They didn't use silverware, but instead we had what looked like tissue paper strung out across the table and drank out of styrofoam cups. The menu, which was posted on the table, consisted of only 8 items. We decided to try the cheese nachos, chicken and okra.

The portions were pretty good, as all 3 items were enough for the 5 of us. It was a really neat place, and I would love to go back.
Love,
Lindsay
